The Team

The founders of Scene Productions: Cass, Catie and Jeremy-Luis are a team of hungry and accomplished artists. Between the three of them, there is expertise in event and artist management, community organization, artist promotion, performance art and music production.

Cassandra DeFreitas “Cass” & Catie Hinshaw are co-founders of another arts community in Austin- Warren Records, ATX and were formerly operating as the events department head and fundraising chair. They branched off to focus their efforts on the community that formed naturally from the Warren Records weekly open mic.

Jeremy-Luis Canales, curator of Ground Floor Theater’s Queer Market, was a natural partner to bring to the team. Their background in artist management and organization, led them to be involved in many successful events with Warren Records. As an Austin native, Jeremy-Luis is passionate about keeping the soul of Austin alive.

All three of them share the value of radical community support and amplification.
